Portrait Investment
Session fees begin at $250 (for a weekday appointment).
Portrait collections begin at $1,250.
Custom portraits begin at $35 for a 5×7 á la carte gift portrait (when investing in a portrait collection).
No minimum purchase is required, however most clients plan to invest between $750 and $2,750.

Custom Portrait Session
Session Fee: $250 Mon-Fri · $400 Sat
Your investment includes:- Amanda’s time & talent at an Atlanta area1 location for up to 4 people.2
- Professional & careful preparation of your images, including minor retouching.
- Online preview of your images in a private gallery with convenient online ordering.
- Heartwarming musical slideshow intro to your online gallery.
- A minimum of 20-30 unique images will be presented (in both color and black & white).
- All finished portraits are purchased á la carte or through one of our portrait collections.
2 Immediate family only, please. Each additional person is $25.
A signed portrait agreement and a non-refundable retainer (the full session fee) is required within 5 business days to hold a specific date. Online gallery, slideshow, and online ordering is available approximately 2 weeks from the date of our session and expire after 5 days. There is a $50 fee to republish the gallery for an additional 5 days.
Specialty Items
Designed using a series of your favorite images from our session. The 10×20 finished portrait is mounted, coated for protection, and ready to frame. Also available as a 5×10 Mini Storyboard, perfect for display on a tabletop easel. From $200
Each image you purchase as a printed portrait will be included with your order in digital format, perfect for sharing on the web, on your iPhone or iPod Touch, and via email.
Digital Wallets are web-sized, contain our studio mark, and are not suitable for printing.
These exquisite canvases are gallery wrapped on a wooden stretcher frame, coated for protection, and ready for display. Hanging hardware is included. Available in Color or B&W. From $435
Complimentary with a Collection investment, your chosen images will be featured in a unique musical slideshow, optimized for display on the iPhone, iPod Touch, web, and email.
iPhone Slideshows are only available through our Classic and Elite Collections.
We offer three different types of albums: the Leather Keepsake Album, the Leather Accordion Brag Book, and the Mini Leather Album. All contain a variety of finished portraits from your session, and each album comes with a gift box.
Mini Albums are only available through our Portrait Collections.
Á La Carte Portraits
Capturinglight Photography's portraits are created using only the best professional photographic
paper. All portraits 8×10 and larger are professionally mounted and coated with a beautiful lustre
finish for protection and extra durability. The protective finish also allows for framing without glass.
The most common portrait sizes are listed below, however, virtually any size is available and is priced
to the next size up. (For example, a 10×10 portrait would be priced the same as an 11×14).

The Archival DVD is available only with the Elite Collection: $2,750.
